The figures above are historical performance statistics, not a live trading record; past performance does not indicate future results. Return = net profit ÷ starting capital, not compounded, and excludes deposits/withdrawals. Max equity drawdown is the largest decline in account equity (including open floating loss), not just closed-trade drawdown. Ask us for a demo account to see live results.
Jin She Chu Dong is a gold strategy built around "breakout after narrow consolidation." It watches two classic consolidation-breakout patterns at once, catching the moment price snaps from dormant to one-directional; when an opposing signal appears, it closes the entire basket and immediately reverses, so the position always sits on the side of the latest signal.
Exits use a two-stage design — bank half at the first target, trail the rest — plus a basket-wide max floating-loss cap as a last-resort fuse, balancing trend capture with risk control.
Watches narrow-range-bar breakouts and consolidation-range breakouts simultaneously, using a higher timeframe to help confirm, improving signal reliability.
Both the consolidation-range width and its proximity to reference levels are measured dynamically using daily ATR, adapting to different volatility regimes rather than using fixed point distances.
An opposing signal triggers an immediate basket close and a fresh reversed basket — the position direction always follows the latest signal.
Banks half the position at target, trails the rest, and locks the stop-loss floor at breakeven to keep a winner from turning into a loser.
A max floating-loss limit on the whole basket serves as a last-resort fuse in extreme moves.
Every entry/exit signal is confirmed on the close, never chasing an intrabar fake breakout, cutting down noise.
The strategy watches two close-confirmed breakout signals at once, never chasing an intrabar fake breakout:
| Signal source | Logic |
|---|---|
| Narrow-range-bar breakout | Identifies a narrow consolidation bar on a higher timeframe; a close above its top goes long, below its bottom goes short. After a breakout, price must pull back to the midline before the setup re-arms, avoiding repeated re-triggers. |
| Consolidation-range breakout | Detects a narrow range formed by the last several candles, sitting close to the prior day's high or low; a close above the range top goes long, below the bottom goes short. Range width and proximity are measured dynamically using daily ATR. |
There's also a research module based on volume-profile key levels, disabled by default, for advanced research use only.
Both signal sources share the same position basket, with a fixed lot size per order.
| Situation | Handling |
|---|---|
| Same-direction signal | Adds to the basket; the exit reference resets to the new weighted average price |
| Opposite-direction signal | Closes the whole basket and immediately opens a new reversed one |
| Max orders per basket | The basket can add up to a set cap, preventing runaway scaling |
Exit logic is checked top-down:
| Priority | Condition | Action |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Price reaches "average price ± multiplier × first-signal range" | Closes half the basket to bank profit |
| 2 | Remaining position trails | Trails at "range × multiplier" distance; stop floor locked at breakeven |
| 3 | Opposite signal appears | Closes the whole basket and reverses |
| 4 | Basket floating loss hits set cap | Closes everything — the last-resort fuse |
Note: this strategy has no traditional per-trade fixed stop-loss — loss control relies on the reversal signal and the basket-wide floating-loss cap.
This strategy has no fixed per-trade stop, adds on same-direction signals, and closes/reverses the whole basket on opposite signals — the basket can scale up to a set order cap — an aggressive risk profile; in sharp whipsaw conditions, basket floating loss can approach the cap directly.
| Risk tier | Suggested min. capital | Suggested leverage | Expected max drawdown |
